Train Runner Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
Train Runner is a single-player endless running game made by Rubek Media. This policy describes what data the app handles and why. The short version: there are no accounts, your high score lives on your own device, and we don't sell or share your information.
What we store
- Your game progress, on your device. Your high score, star totals, best multiplier, and settings are saved locally in the app's own storage on your phone. They are not uploaded to us and are not linked to your identity.
- No account, ever. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth, and there is nothing to sign up for.
Advertising
Train Runner shows occasional full-screen ads between runs, provided by Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier and basic device information, and may use it to show ads and measure their performance.
On iOS you are asked, via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether Train Runner may track you across apps and websites. If you decline — or never answer — you still see ads, but they are non-personalised. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Users in the EU and UK are additionally shown a consent form before any ads load.
Google's handling of this data is described in their Privacy & Terms and how Google uses information from partner sites and apps.
What we don't do
- No accounts, logins, or personal profiles
- No selling or sharing of your information with data brokers
- No analytics SDKs beyond what AdMob requires to serve ads
- No access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health data, or precise location
Permissions
Train Runner does not require any special device permissions to play. If a future version asks for one, it will explain why at the moment it asks, and declining will never lock you out of the game itself.
Service providers
Advertising is served by Google AdMob, acting as a data processor for that purpose. Their privacy documentation is linked in the Advertising section above.
Your choices
- Ad personalisation can be turned off in your device settings at any time.
- Deleting the app removes your locally stored scores and settings from your device. Because nothing is stored on our servers, this deletes your game data entirely.
- For privacy questions or requests, contact: hello@rubekmedia.com
Children
Train Runner does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There are no accounts, no chat, no user-generated content, and no way for players to contact each other in the app.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above will be updated.
